So far you've summed up the year in one word, admitted your vices, touted your virtues, revealed your superpower, and let us in on your theme song, but no superhero does it alone ...
Who is the Thelma to your Louise? Who is your partner in crime? Did you reacquaint yourself with an old friend? Did you make a new friend? Or, perhaps, you are a lone ranger?

Working at home, I admit I didn't have the social life yuppies have. Most of the people I interact with are the people I met online, so for 2011, my partner in crime would have to be my sister, Jesselyn. This year being her "rest year," we have done things together, including out of town trips, food trips, and she has been one of my frequent models whenever I needed to take portraits for some photoblog memes.
She and I are born 8 years apart, but now that we're both adults, we can relate to some stuff - traveling, food, even the girly stuff. When we're together we can talk about many things, at times we can just make spontaneous decision and we would laugh about it later. Of course, being sisters, we do have some misunderstanding at times, but I am happy that I can be as young as her, or she can be as old as I am - age difference doesn't hinder us from being great friends.
This year, too, I became real close to our neighbor Ria. It started with some food trips, then I let her travel with me to La Union in 2010, then last May us three went to Quezon Province for the Pahiyas Festival. We've been neighbors for many, many years...but it was just lately that we have been so close - to the point that we can also talk about many things. Now, we can just phone each other whenever we want some impromptu food trips and it would also become a great time for us to talk and be real good friends.
They say you don't need many friends in life to make it worthwhile. I guess that is true.
