Setting up our little Christmas Tree. We used to have this big, 5ft. tall tree, but we could only set it up in our terrace, and since we wanted a tree inside the living room, we decided to go for the small tree (which we purchased last year). We always have a color motif every year, and this year our color is gold. Our house is now 75% Christmas-ready... last night we changed curtains, still keeping up with the motif.

New set of measuring cups. When I started this journey to weight loss, the measuring cups bought by brother help me kick-start my food portioning. From 1 cup of rice per meal to 3/4, to 2/3... now 1/2. Our cups were dome-shaped, and using it for many months, I sort of get tired seeing the same shape, so I hoped to see a new shape (as long as it's not dome). I got to see these measuring cups at the Japan Home Center and seeing that it's cylindrical in shape (correct me if I am wrong), I decided to buy it - even if it didn't have 2/3 and 3/4 cups.

Learning the art of saying "no." Last Saturday, we went to the shops to check things we may want to purchase. Before going home, mom asked if we could eat snacks first, and because they chose to eat at Pizza Hut, I decided not to eat snacks. I just told my mom and sis that it wasn't my time to eat yet, so I just sat there - chit-chatting with them while enjoying my two glasses of water.

Seeing a shop I want to visit. A Facebook friend shared this picture on his wall and it instantly caught my attention. Bilbil means "tummy fat" and this shop is obviously for the Plus Size ladies (like me). None of the clothes on display caught my fancy, but I still want to visit it because I sure will find a dress or a blouse that I can fit into.
Two more weeks before Christmas. Things to do aren't complete yet, but I only have to find that dress and a pair of shoes to go with it and then make the list of dishes to cook and we'll be ready.
Of course, I didn't forget what the season is all about.
