What I Want to Wear for Christmas

After Undas, Filipinos are now preparing for Christmas. We still haven't put up our Christmas Tree, but we do have gold as our color motif for this year. :) It still is early, but yes, we do plan what to wear for Christmas, as the whole family pose for pictures during Noche Buena. That being said, us three girls really do shop for clothes so that our pictures would look great. Afterall, Christmas comes but once in a year, and we have to really celebrate it.

I may be down 6lbs and still striving to lose more weight, but the realist in me do know that even if I exercise all day or starve myself, I won't have a supermodel-like figure come Christmas, so I won't go for the ultra sexy dresses. I am realistic about my plus size figure, so this year, I hope to wear something like this:

Well, my arms are quite big, so I do feel the need to cover it up, so I want to go for something with sleeves. There aren't that much stores selling plus size clothing, but this cut of dress I do like. This is quite expensive for me (I am very kuripot), but I will go to tiangge near Christmastime to find a dress like this that would fit me. :)

I know it's just about the dress, but the whole outfit isn't complete without the footwear, and this year, I sure want to go back wearing elevated footwear. Since I entered college, I rarely wear elevated shoes, and I think that's the reason why I don't know how to carry a footwear like this (picture) anymore. Despite my weight, I sure know I can teach myself how to walk wearing these wedge sandals, although I do think these were a little too high for me. I actually just like the design, but I sure hope to find something a little less higher than these.

This is just a wish. Of course, if I can't find a much cheaper dress and shoes than this, I will just settle for what my budget can handle. Christmas is special, yes, but I do want to be practical. As long as I am wearing something decent for the Christmas family photo shoot, I am happy about it.
