I received an invitation to attend the awarding of the 2011 Magnolia Ice Cream tub wrap contest winners. I was able to spend time with my cousin Marge and other bloggers, and after the event, we were given a thermo-bag with a tub of ice cream and some cups of their pop-a-cup ice cream. I am not a big ice cream eater, but I did get to eat 50 grams a day. My sister and my brother were the ones who truly enjoyed the ice cream; mom couldn't eat chocolate-flavored ice cream, so she just enjoyed the pop-a-cup ice cream, which was raspberry flavored.

Thursday night, my siblings and I attended the Appetite Magazine Restaurant Festival 2011. At first, I was the only one who got the invite, but sister and I attended the Lee Kum Kee event, we were given two tickets, so I gave my extra ticket to my brother, which made him happy. We didn't have a picture together, but here's two pictures of me at the event - both grabbed from Az. The one on the right was a picture of me with cousin Marge and another blogger pal Jenny. Hmmm... what's with the stripes? Hehehe.
Awesome food selections, awesome event, awesome companions!

Just this afternoon, brother and I attended the Canon Pixma Printer event at the Cyberzone of SM City North Edsa. Prior to the event, I received an e-mail asking me to submit the "best" image I have printed, and I submitted the soft copy of that butterfly I took in Vigan. It didn't win me a Canon Pixma Printer, but at the event, my name was drawn and I got to win an ODM watch.
Also, when I registered at the booth, someone called my name and I was surprised to see Ms. Marissa - cousin of my high school buddy Liza. Also, I got to see in person Canon brand ambassadors - top photographers Per-Andre Hoffman, Jo Avila, and Jun Miranda. I wasn't able to shake their hands, but I did get to say hello to Mr. Hoffman before the event started.
I am happy receiving so many event invitations this year, as much as I am thankful to attend these events, I am more thankful to the trust given to me by these companies to cover their events. I pray for more events, because these events allow me to learn new knowledge, meet new people, and yes, try products as well.
