- Going back in my bedroom.
- Our family not greatly affected by the two typhoons that visited the country.
- Trying out a new recipe.
- A new exercising machine (read previous post).
- Blogger friend Jill giving me a ride from Enderun Colleges to EDSA-Estrella last Saturday.

Shiatsu Massage GC. When my sister and I attended the first Bloggers' Buffet at Carol's Texan 5, they had a post-event contest, sister being one of the winners. It took a while before sister got to claim her prize, and when she got home, she gave me this gift certificate, which Tristan (the man behind the Bloggers' Buffet) specifically asked sister to give me. I am not into massages and spa treatments, as I still haven't tried it, but I might use this as I know I deserve some pampering. :) Thanks a lot, Tristan!

Tea Party at Cha Dao. I was given 4 gift cerTEAficates for Cha Dao Tea Place, and yesterday, I went with my sister and two blogger friends - Daryll and Marge (who is also my cousin - our grandfathers are brothers). I am very thankful that my relationship with them are getting closer and closer, and I am thankful they accepted my invitation to try out Cha Dao's milk tea. Likewise, am thankful to Ms. Andrea, who gave me the GCs.

Movie Passes. Daryll left earlier yesterday, but us three stayed at Cha Dao a little longer as even if Marge and I get to see each other at blog events, we didn't really have that much longer time to catch up with our lives. As we sip our milk tea, we get to share a lot of life events, and when she shared her movie time with Grace (a close friend of hers, who sis and I already got to meet as well), she decided to gave us two movie passes, in case we pass by Greenhills. Big thanks, cousin!
This week, too, I got to receive invitation for two food events, one for the Lee Kum Kee event this Sunday, the other for the Appetite Magazine's event. Thank you so much for the invitation... do know that I am so excited to attend these events.
Talking more about blogging, last night, I was exchanging text messages with a friend of mine, who is now thinking of opening a blog. I am thankful because I guess I am such a contagious person to the point of me talking about my blogging life has made him want to open one, too. Everything is still in its planning stage, but he already has a vision and a path he wants to take, and what made me blush was when he said to me, "Of course you'll be a part of it, I need a professional photographer!" Awww... Well, am not a professional photographer, but him seeing me that way really warmed my heart.

The other day, I finally opened my new blog, Slenderella Jenn. Like what I wrote on my very first post, it will be a hush-hush blog, but as you can see, I linked up the blog here, because of course, I still want people to know it exists. Though it's a hush-hush blog, I am very surprised (and thankful) that my friend Nathalie hopped into the blog and even took her time to comment. It's such a joy when a blogger receive a comment, and as much as I am thankful that she read my post, am also thankful that even if we don't see each other personally, she's still supporting me with this journey.

Today, the whole world mourns with the passing of Steve Jobs, co-founder of Apple. I may not know many things about the man, but being a person who owns and iPod Nano, I guess I am part of his visions and innovations. Thank you, Steve Jobs for sharing your knowledge, time, effort, and talent to the world.
"Stay hungry, stay foolish."
