Come to think of it, problems in general do wear us down, but digging deep, we have to be thankful for the problems because it make us get in touch with ourselves, it make us feel, it make us human, it make us come up with solutions, and it make us stronger. Problems? Bring it on!

Last Tuesday, I talked about me winning an ODM Watch at the Canon Pixma Event. The day after, I checked it out and set it up, it was a cute watch really, but it's necklace-like, so I don't think I can use this. I do have my cell phone as my way of checking time, so for sure this watch will be given to any of my friends for Christmas.
I wasn't able to win any of the Canon Pixma printers at the event, but I am thankful that my attendance being a blogger still gives me a chance to win a printer, as they have an on-going contest for bloggers present at the event. I still have one shot to win a printer, and I sure won't let it pass.

It's been raining here everyday and the other day, it rained so hard in the afternoon. I got scared for a while because there were thunder and lightning, but come dusk, I got to see a tint of orange from our terrace's window, and as the night was eating the day, the sky just got more beautiful! I am a morning person, but since our house is facing west, seeing sunset colors sure is a reason to be thankful everyday.

It was in 2007 when I got to finally admit that I have weight problems, and since then, I have always loved doing Shaun T's "Hip Hop Abs." Four years after, am still obese, but that's because of my own laziness and because I was half-hearted. This year seemed to be the best year for me as I am very much eager to start the day with prayers and exercise. I still am doing Hip Hop Abs, as I love this dance workout! Yesterday afternoon, I was surprised to see an e-mail notification from Twitter saying Shaun T is now following me. I am not sure if this is his official Twitter account, but nevertheless I was starstruck seeing it. Of course, I followed him back.
He now has a new workout video called "Insanity," but this is still not available here in the Philippines, so I still can't do this, but am looking forward to it. :)
Still with the talks of health and wellness... I am thankful that even if I am drinking a cup of high-calcium milk every night, my tummy wasn't reacting bad to it yet. Being over 200lbs, it was really difficult for my bones to carry all my weight as I do my exercises, so I owe it to my body to give it the nourishment it deserves. Losing weight may mean cutting down on food, trying to keep the calorie-intake as minimum as possible, but of course, I still have to make sure I keep my diet balanced. My body needs vitamins, minerals, and all the good stuff, and I can find it in different food groups. Sure, I won't eat much, but that doesn't mean I won't eat what I need. I want to lose weight by changing my lifestyle, without depriving myself of anything. Like I say, all should be in balance.
