FRIDAY, 12 August 2011

- My cat Oreo is now binata! He started pursuing our other cat Lilith, but he really has to pursue well, because there is a different cat trying to pursue Lilith, too.
- Planning the foods to eat for next week.
- My mom saying to me, "Very good, biggest loser!" (I told mom I exercised today)
I wouldn't say I am totally over the sudden change of emotions I had the day before, but I feel much better now, thank heavens. I hoped to do more things today, but my body was still tired, so I decided not to push too much.
Even if I didn't like the Philippine version of "the Biggest Loser," I still watched it everyday, because this show has been a source of inspiration for me (my favorite is the Australian version, though). I am glad now that the show started showcasing more of the fitness/diet side of the show and not so much on the dramatic side of the contestants. Anyway, I am very inspired with how much weight the contestants lost now, which made me wonder if I can also do the things they do if ever I am on the show, too. :)
I really felt great when mom called me "biggest loser," - means she appreciated the efforts I put into losing weight. We still don't know how much weight I lost in the last two weeks, but I am positive I have lost some weight.

How rooted are you in God's truth? Are you easily swayed by the world's changing values?
Today's gospel centers on divorce and the "What God joined together, no human being must separate." In today's times, more and more couples are separating - either getting a divorce or an annulment or one of them simply leaving his/her other half for many reasons. True, times have changed and what was wrong then is now considered right.
I won't play the goody good, because I know I have committed sins as well. It has been said that our bodies are our temples, and I admit I have fallen into the trap of lust quite many times. I could say that there were/are times that I can be easily swayed, but I am always grateful for God saving me from the traps of lust (and gluttony) and I am now slowly cleaning my temple.
- Breakfast - 1/2 sandwich (corned beef omelet), given by mom - she ate the other half
- Lunch - 5 tablespoons rice mixed with beef strips with corn & peas (leftover from last night)
- Afternoon Snacks - 2 pieces "kababayan" bread
- Dinner - 1 cup rice + 1 cup tuna sotanghon (canned tuna + sotanghon + cabbage + carrots)
- Cups of Water - 14
I realized it was a wrong move for me to to put 1 cup of rice because I was so full after eating my dinner. I know, I can always opt not to eat it all, but the cats have been fed and I am raised knowing the value of food (meaning, what I put on my plate I should eat), so I had to eat it all.
EXERCISE
- Hip Hop Abs (Cardio) - 30 minutes
- Dumbbells - 5 exercises, 30 reps each
- Hip Hop Abs (Ab Sculpt) - 20 minutes
- Leg Exercises - 3 exercises, 30 reps each
I was hoping I could also do the Hip Hop Abs (Hips, Thighs & Buns) after doing Ab Sculpt, but my body was already tired (hmmm.. excuses?). I just planned to do all three Hip Hop Abs routine everyday starting next week, just to up the ante.
I should be talking about the 30 Days of Truth, but the topic I am about to answer was about "Making a Playlist," and I still am not done, so I will answer Sunday Stealing instead.
