05|52. Water.

Fifth prompt on the 52 Weeks of Me was "water." I actually already took a picture of myself in the shower, but since we don't have pool and our garden looks so hideous at the moment, I basically can't think of anything but doing another shower picture.

05|52. Water.

I took this one using my cell phone. It wasn't waterproof, so I had to be real careful in using it or I might end up with dysfunctional cell phone. I am a bit paranoid about using my cell phone inside the bathroom because the last cell phone I owned (before this one) died because drowning. I placed it by the bathroom sink and I accidentally knocked it off and it fell in the bucket full of water. While doing this shoot, I would turn off the shower each frame. I didn't want to risk losing another cell phone.

As for the camera settings, I set this one to macro, flash on. Turning the flash on helped in freezing the water, turning it into little droplets in the air. It was a bit difficult for me to make this shoot because I feel I look awful without the eyeglasses. Having flat nose and limp hair also didn't help as I have big face, but I guess this was okay. I wanted to keep this one GP, but it would look awful wearing a shirt under the shower, and it would look so R rated if I go nude, so I just made sure I covered the things I needed to cover.

Some water related facts about me:
  • I don't know how to swim. They say fat people float in the water, but every time I would attempt to float in the water, I'd always sink. Brother said maybe I was holding on to my fears of drowning. I still hope to learn how to swim.
  • No matter how much soda or juice I drink, I still won't get satisfied until I had a drink of water.
  • I keep a glass of water near my bed because I am too lazy to walk to the kitchen in the middle of the night.
  • The only times I get warm showers was whenever I am on an out of town trip. Our own bathroom has no shower heater, I just have to endure the cold water.
  • One of the house chores I like to do is to water the plants, because I can wet my feet after.
  • I prefer to drink cold water. I don't find water in room temp yummy.
  • I drink a glass of water upon waking up and before going to bed at night.
  • One of the pleasures in life is to see the sunrise or the sunset by the beach, or any form of water.

I may have fears in drowning, but I am not afraid of the water. The only problem is that my skin - especially in my hands would wrinkle very quick.
