Brand new day for K and I... as usual, we went to Madge Cafe to get our morning coffee fix, but unlike yesterday, I only had the coffee today, while K still went to eat the pandeciosa. Well, reason for me not to eat anything was because I wanted to eat another bowl of La Paz Batchoy, this time from Ted's, another big name in the La Paz Batchoy business. It was delicious, but somehow I liked Deco's more. :)

La Paz Church. After breakfast, K told me he saw an "old railroad" in the map of Iloilo in La Paz, so he asked will it be okay for us to walk around and look for it. Language barrier was a big factor - it was difficult for the people to express what they wanted to say and it was difficult for me to understand what they wanted to say. Sadly, we weren't able to see the old railroad, but knowing the La Paz Church was a few blocks away, we decided to walk around and look for it.
After saying my prayers, we walked back to the inn to freshened up. At this point, I still use my cell phone in VGA size (640x480 pixels) because my cell phone runs on internal memory. I didn't know when the USB cord of my cell phone and my sister's M2 card will arrive, so I didn't want to max out my cell phone's memory.
It was around 9AM when we got back in the inn, and as soon as we opened the front door, the front desk woman asked if I was Jennifer, because I got a package. Wow, for a package that was sent late in the morning yesterday, it reaching Iloilo in basically less than 24hours blew me away. Thankful much, I can now shoot pictures in its biggest size - 2048x1536 pixels.

Sbarro - Robinson's Place Iloilo. Around 11AM, we decided to go out. Actually, we were supposed to go to Guimaras Island on this day, but we decided not to, because we realized there were still quite a few places in Iloilo we haven't seen. We went to Museo Iloilo, but at 11AM, it was already closed for lunch, so we just went to the Robinson's Place so we can do some shopping - again, we ran out of bottled water, and to eat lunch, too. The only "new" food place for me there was the Hong Kong Kitchen, but it was jampacked with people, and since K wasn't really hungry, we just went to eat pasta at Sbarro. Basically, we were waiting for 2PM to decide whether we'll go back to the Museo Iloilo, but we couldn't wait that long anymore, so we left.

San Jose Church. We took the jeepney to Plaza Libertad, and seeing the San Jose Church, it was a two-birds-with-one-stone thing. When we came out of the church, there were groups of teenagers in costumes and one photographer told us we were lucky to be there, however, the event didn't start after nearly an hour, so we decided to leave.

Jaro Cathedral. I aim to buy my pasalubong today, so from San Jose Church, we asked the driver if it would pass by Jaro Cathedral. He said yes, so we got in. Funny thing was... after 15 minutes or so, we found ourselves back at the San Jose Church. K and I just secretly smiled at each other, and just enjoyed the road trip.
The Jaro Cathedral was quite far, and it was so hot and sunny... but we were able to relax outside the church for a while because there was a funeral mass when we arrived. We just sat in one of the benches, and K took the time to grab some snacks (we packed some granola bars).

The Original Biscocho Haus / Coffee Break. Asking the guards where the Original Biscocho Haus is located, he told us we didn't have to ride a jeep anymore and just walk because it was near the plaza. Walking there was quite exhausting, we didn't have umbrellas and we took different turns because there was a fair at the plaza and the rows of goodies for sale just blocked the straight line out of the plaza. I was able to buy pasalubong, but was surprised to see my goods totaling 600+ pesos. :)
After that, it was basically time for us to go back to the inn, but me seeing a Coffee Break outlet just next to the Original Biscocho Haus made me want to have a coffee break, too. I had desserts overload - I went to eat two desserts: the tiramisu and the chocolate mousse, and I had a frap, too! It was so comforting!
With a box on hand, it was really time to go "home," where we stayed til night time.

Afrique's - Smallville. Around 8:30PM, we decided it was time to eat dinner. We decided to went to Smallville, where different restaurants are located. After walking around, we went to eat our dinner at Afrique's, and seemed I was into baby back ribs, that I decided to go for it. I was so surprised at how big it was, and unfortunately, K didn't want to help me with it. I only ate 2/3 of it, and because the inn didn't have fridge in the room, I left the remaining 1/3 there. In my "real" world, that was something I wouldn't do, but I really just have to.
The dessert overload from late in the afternoon, and the huge slab of ribs gave me heartburn when we got back in the inn. K handed me some indigestion/heartburn tablets, which gave me comfort before I went to bed.
Even if we didn't travel to Guimaras, I was still a happy traveler.
