It was late at night when I received a message in my Facebook from a co-member in Singles for Christ (Arnel) telling me that Urim's birthday is "tomorrow," and our friend Ecko has invited us for a small thanksgiving party. I said yes, but I forgot about it the next day, and I was a bit surprised when Arnel and two more co-members knocked on our gate to fetch me. :)
Urim Gren is actually my godson. Ecko and I were batch mates in SFC, but he didn't stay that long because he got married. Still, every once in a while, he would help with the service - through the music ministry.

The last time I saw Urim was when he was baptized, so I knew he wouldn't come to me if I'd try to take him. Actually, at first he was a little hesitant, but when I tried to take a picture of him, he immediately smiled and he personally wanted to come to me! Nice!

Aside from our age, one common thread Ecko and I had was our interest in photography. He showed me a book he recently bought, and I really wanted to read it, but Urim was busy flipping it. Even at a young age, I guess this boy has taken the interest in photography, too!

Ecko's mom prepared three foods: pancit canton, spaghetti, and puto. She cooks really well; all the dishes tasted so good! Of course, Ecko's mom was glad to talk about the foods and the process of cooking it.
It was around 10PM when we decided to go home. Whenever I am with them time would really pass by so quick because we just had so much to talk about. I apologized to Ecko and Urim for not wrapping a gift; I just promised Ecko I'd create a scrapbook for Urim once I collected all the pictures.
