Green

I thought I couldn't join this week's Girls Talk... but as I thought aloud of what green object to share, my brother answered, "your paper cutter." Well, my paper cutter is blue... the one I gave him was the green one (which is currently in La Union), but his answer did give me the idea of what to share:

Girls Talk

Greenery

These were just some of the green embellishments for my scrapbooking. I don't own that much scrapbook materials, but two of the most important things for me as far as embellishment is concerned, it would be the paper flowers and the brads to hold it. These paper flowers were bought two to three years ago at a scrapbooking EB I attended. There is a scrapbooking community here in the Philippines, which I joined in 2006. We don't get to meet now, but most of them are still my friends in Facebook.

Anyway, the flowers were made by Prima, and it was contained in a tall plastic tube with different colors and designs. During scrapbook EBs, one of the ways for people to save up on very expensive materials was to share it. I forgot how much this cost, but I did get to share it with Ella. We equally divided each design and each color then the excess ones, we did rock, paper, scissors to know who will get it.

As for the brads and eyelets, I just bought those from the stationery department of SM, and is made by "All About Scrapbooking."

I am a person who doesn't own much green stuffs, I think I only have one green top, which I wore here - taken in Chowking just outside Manaoag Church in Pangasinan. This is a scrapbook layout I created for the Pinoy Scrapbookers KAYA! challenge, of which I hosted. The theme for that month was "The Flavors of Summer." You can read bits and pieces about this layout HERE.

I used to have a scrapbook when I was a teenager - hindi pa uso yung mga ready-made supplies noon, so my scrapbook was really boring. :p

Whenever I see scrapbooking supplies in stores, I get excited. They're so cute! ^_^ I never buy any though because I keep thinking I can save a lot of money by making my own - but then when it comes to making them I tell myself I can save a lot of time if I just bought them. Hee hee.

I started creating handmade scrapbooking but it's not done until now. It's tedious! Your embelishments are cute by the way. Keep it up in doing your scrapbooking!
