The Shower Rack

Wow, it's been a long, long time since I last participated in Girls Talk! Making a comeback... :)

Shower Rack

This week, it's all about the shower loot, and I just took a picture of the rack in our shower - which I share with the rest of the family. Some of the items here are mine, some are owned by the other family members, and some all of us share. I am not a vain person and although I do take care of my personal hygiene, I don't really give much attention on the brands, I often times just use whatever suits my fancy. :)

Taking a closer look at the rack, we have:

Shower Rack - Top Half

I am a person who takes shower twice a day, one early morning and another a few hours before sleeping. During daytime, I either use the family soap, or I would use the shower gel. Depending on my mood, I'd either use the Victoria's Secret "strawberries and champagne," which was given to my mom by a balikbayan friend, or I would use the Celebrity Secrets "lavender," which was given to me by a Filipina blogger friend who lives in Australia. Every morning, too, I'd condition my hair, and I am currently using Rejoice anti hair fall, just to change the brand. I rotate using different brands because I heard that hair gets immune if one would stick to a particular band. For the face, I use the Belo skin whitening facial wash just because I got dark during the summer, and once in a while I'd use the Mary Kay facial wash because it has beads. This one was actually mom's, but we are free to share whatever we have. Of course, any shower time wouldn't be complete if I don't take care of the feminine area, so for that I use Lactacyd. What else? Hmmm... there's the razor for underarm hair, and my yellow nylon puff ball, which I use whenever I use the shower gels. The little tubes are shampoo and conditioner mom took home from a trip, and the other bottle is the For Me "vanilla rose" shower gel, which was given to me by my friend. I rarely use it, though.

Shower Rack - Bottom Half

Bottom half, there's the shampoo and the soaps - I am currently using Sunsilk anti hair fall shampoo, just because I wasn't able to see any of the Rejoice shampoos; and the Clear shampoo is for my brother. We tend to use the sachet shampoos because we realized it was more economical, because if we use the bottled ones, we tend to pour a lot in our palms, whereas if we use the sachet ones, we would feel a little guilty if we opened a new sachet and realized we left less than half of its contents. :) As for the soaps, the Glutamax is my sister's, while the Olay is mom's. I use the Royale Beauty L-Glutathione soap after a neighbor asked me to try it out. I still haven't seen results since I started using it - that's because we just had a summer outing and I got dark again. The Lux soap was a standby soap, which we open whenever we have some relatives staying here for a few days. Of course, the standby soap will be changed after it has been used (we sometimes just give them to the people who used it). The stock of the family soap (we use Safeguard white) is on the medicine cabinet. I also use the Body Shop Moringa body scrub on my feet twice a week just to take out the dead skin cells. After my vacation in Pangasinan, I noticed that my feet took a beating and I just didn't want to end up having cracked heels, so I am taking all efforts to soften up my soles. This was given by a neighbor, and it just smells so good. So good that I sometimes feel guilty for just using it on my feet. Hahaha. The mango one is my sister's, by the way.

Question - do you think I need to stick to one brand? I really need to be a vain now. :)
