I was privileged to be invited by the Enchanted Kingdom to take part of the opening of their new attraction. Together with bloggers and other media partners, we were treated to a whole day of fun around the park and a very sumptuous meal. Of course, the main reason why we were there was to witness the opening of Zoori's Adventure.

In partnership with the Yupangco Group, which brought people the Zoobic Safari and Residence Inn, Zoori's Adventure is an interactive museum where guests (especially kids) can have a close encounter with mechanical white lions, while learning about their habitat.

Yesterday was its soft opening, and here are some of the pictures:

Ribbon Cutting

Mr. Mamon (President of Enchanted Kingdom) and Mr. Yupangco (of the Yupangco Group) about to cut the ribbon to signal the opening of Zoori's Adventure.

Jump!

The attraction is divided into different chambers, and here, guests try to hop on the wood pieces without letting their feet touch the floor.

Gift Shop

Cute tiger stuffed toys available at the gift shop.

Zoori's Adventure is still a work in progress. Aside from the pictures I had here, there's also this chamber with angled floors, to simulate how lions are whenever they are on the hunt for foods. I could say that the place is still a bit bare, but I did enjoy the short tour around, especially the tunnel!

By mid April, exotic birds will also be housed at the Enchanted Kingdom. Bird lovers will have the chance to enter the aviary and feed the birds. But this day is all about Zoori and here she is:

Touching Zoori

...a very cute white lion! She's barely a year old, and very friendly! She loves to play... and this day, guests had the chance to pose near her for pictures, that's me in black with EK's Myla Cammayo.

I am sure over time, Zoori's Adventure will be a much better place to visit at. I am liking this setup - at least people who aren't really into theme park rides will still get to enjoy other attractions. And, this being an educational one, people weren't just treated to a great time, their brains were fed, too. :)

Thank you so much for the invitation, Enchanted Kingdom.
