I had few hours of sleep from Friday night, so Saturday morning, when I received a text message from my friend Kei asking if I can attend her birthday party, was a bit hesitant to answer because I pretty much prefer to sleep and take a rest. When she texted me a week ago informing about the party, she told that she hoped we could attend around lunch time, hence my hesitation. She did tell me most of our friends would go for dinner, so I could still rest. I then told her I will be attending.
Our friend Dianne lives near SM Fairview, so we decided to meet there. Leila and her bf picked us up around 7PM, and we set out to travel to Kei's house. Getting to Kei's house was so difficult - not because of the distance, but because there were too many roads to take and we just didn't know which way to go. We reached their place nearly 9PM.

Kei's father cooked most of the foods served to us. We were able to eat a wide array of foods including Laing, Pork Adobo, Caldereta, Pork Barbecue, Fried Chicken, and Dumplings. For desserts, we were served slices of cake. All were delicious, but my favorite would have to be the adobo. It was just so good!

The party was a good reunion for us Coron Sisters. Nearly four months after our Palawan trip, we were able to get together again. Too bad Erick and Ryan weren't at the party, but I was happy to have met another member from the forum we all belong to.
We stayed until 12MN. Dianne and I asked Lei's boyfriend to drop us off at Regalado Avenue, where I took a bus home. Our stay at Kei's house was short - considering the many stories we needed to exchange, but as always, there will always be a next time.
Thanks for inviting me to your birthday, Kei. So happy to see you again. May this year be a great one for you. Love ya, sis!
