My First Pre-Nup Shoot

Our Weekend Memoirs

Pre-Nup Shoot

It was through my dear friend Halie that I've got to know of this forum, Pinoy Republic. Halie, being a friend I met through another forum which has a thread for sharing photos, invited me to join the forum so I could share some of my photos and grow more as a photographer.

It was just a month since I joined the team of photography enthusiasts over at Pinoy Republic, and yesterday was my very first time to meet two of the moderators - Richard and Mark. They put up an invitation for a pre-nup shoot, but of course the participants would just be at the sidelines, as the two of them would be the main photographers for the shoot.

I admit I really suck at portraiture, and I saw this as a good learning experience, so I went out to meet with them. It was a short shoot, but I think I was able to capture enough snapshots of the couple I could be proud of. Sadly, my P&S camera can't do the bokeh thingy, but it's okay.

I am not sure yet if I can put up the photos, so I just chose this one for this entry. I will send the pictures to Mark and Richard first, then maybe next time, I'd put out the shots I had of the couple.

To Mark and Richard, it was a pleasure to meet you personally; to Halie, it was great seeing you again.

There is so much about networking. One of them is "honing computing skills" without going through the traditional classroom retinue which sometimes can be tedious.

Just enjoy photography. You don't need an expensive camera to be one. All of my non-digital cameras are broken, and so with my one and only basic digicam.

Am happy enough using my mobile camera (cell phone) but the results can also be selective. In typographic term, it is Case Sensitive..if you know what I mean.

    Thanks for the visit.

Like you I am addicted to photo shooting, I snap at almost everything that interest me. Sometimes I felt awkward to take photos of people posing for portraits...uggh. Snapping at flowers, animals, an object, a mountain, a beach almost everything, you know why? Because they can't and won't complain LOL. I don't have any formal lessons on photography but I think I have improved a bit haha...at least. I already broke 2 digital cameras and I am happy now...I'd say contented with my SLR...so far.

Thanks for dropping by my blog.

Jenn, when I look at your pictures, you have a good eye and a lot of creativity and composition. I do not have formal lessons, but I have a good tutor. I think the forums are a great help. Good luck and continue with your aspirations!
