Last May 10, I was one of the lucky 50 bloggers who took part of the 4D Summer Bloggers' Day at Enchanted Kingdom. Being part of this was a dream come true for me as this was my first time to set foot in the theme park and facing a minor problem a few days before when I thought the registration has closed, I was over the top happy to know I can join the event.
We all met up at the carpark in between SM Makati and Intercon Hotel. Shuttle services were provided by ITEX, an exclusive partner of Enchanted Kingdom. Because of ITEX (International Travel Exchange), people from Metro Manila who don't own a vehicle can now go to the theme park without worrying about how to get there.

Upon getting our bloggers' kits at the office, we all proceeded to the first event of the day - watching "Journey to the Center of the Earth" at the 4D Theater. Only 30 people can watch the 15-minute movie at a time, and being the last blogger in, I tend to move my body to my left so I could watch the movie nicely. My mom has told about the 3D Theater she experienced in Singapore and told that it was like being there, and watching this one, I can now relate to what my mom told before.
It was so weird that I had to wear the 4D glasses over my eyeglasses so I could fully enjoy the experience. It's funny that the seat moves up and down and would shake making me feel I was part of the movie. It was funny that aside from the moving seats, I could also feel wind blowing and water squirting in my face!

After the show, we went to the Enchanted Kingdom Cafe to eat lunch. It was also there where we were greeted by some of the park's bosses. They welcomed us, showed us some A/V presentations, and right after eating dinner, we were grouped according to our colors.
Teams left the cafe and started Magikalympics. A very fun part of our EK experience, and what a sweet blessing it was for our team (Swine Blue) to win the EK Magikalympics: Bloggers Edition.

The Magikalympics took about three hours, but after the awarding ceremony, we were given our own time to enjoy the park. Some grouped together to take the rides, while I went on my own way to take pictures and take the rides. Nina told about a wonderful sunset, and because I wanted to see it, I decided to take the Wheel of Fate. I was able to see the sun about to set, but I took the ride a little early, and when I lined again, it was a bit too late. Still, I was able to enjoy my time walking around the park.
I went to the Magical Shop to buy some souvenirs. Using half of my Wizard money, I bought a keychain. I hoped to buy my sister a shirt, but my pocket money wasn't enough. Next time, sis!

At 7PM, I went to Eldar's Tent to watch Enchante. I was a bit late for the show as I was getting dehydrated and needed to chug down some water and take a little rest. It was a variety show - telling a story through words and songs, and from what I was able to watch, I think the main jist of the story was based from "The Little Mermaid." I loved their presentation - great voices, great dancing... and I love the bubbles blowing all over the tent as if we really were underwater!
This presentation will run until 07 June 2009. Be sure to catch it when you go to the park.

After the show we ate dinner. Using the other half of my Wizard Money, I had beef - wanton noodles from Dimsum and Dumplings at the Bandstand. Although, I had to rush my eating because the fireworks started at exactly 8PM! I had a little problems with my camera setting, that I wasn't able to take that much fireworks pictures, but of course, seeing it was a great way to cap off a great day in the park.
We left at around 8:45PM. Still riding the ITEX Shuttle, we were dropped off where we were picked up in the morning. Tired yes, but it's the kind of tiredness we all wanted to have.
To EK and ITEX, thanks!
