Back then, it was normal for Hanson fans to meet up especially when a celebration is coming up. Although we haven't done it in such a long, long time because we "grew up" and had different things to prioritize, it didn't really mean we already lost the fire. Well, some already gave up being Hanson fans, but a few of us are still proud to be Hansonites. If you regularly follow my blog, I have already talked about a fanblog we maintain. Its through that blog that we get to interact with each other and share the love we have for our favorite band, Hanson.

This picture was taken October 2001, when we met up at a mall to celebrate Zac Hanson's birthday. I was still able to attend a couple more meet-ups after this, but this was the only picture with my face in it that I got to see over the old Geocities site sisters Joe and Anne put up.

Now why was I putting up this seven-year-old picture? Because on Saturday, we will be meeting up again after a long, long, time. Our fanblog has been up for more than a year already, yet it was just this time that we had the chance to get together. May 6th is when we celebrate Hanson Day, so why not meet now? Some activities lined up will be video watching (Anne recently had a copy of Hanson's "Middle of Nowhere: Acoustic"), jamming (time to cut the nails for that guitar), games, and walking barefoot.

After so long, I will see them again, and I am thankful that the typhoon has now left (at least here in Manila) and the sun is now shining! See you on Saturday, girls!
