Last Saturday, I was with my family and close neighbors for our annual neighborhood summer outing. At first I planned not to go with them as I prefer to go to the Komikon Summer Fiesta and the Jack TV Animation Festival, but when I asked two of my friends where I should go, both of them told me it's better to be with family. After giving it a thought, I realized nothing really beats being with family.
We left at around 5:30AM and we arrived in Pandi, Bulacan at around 8AM. My mom and I were hoping we could visit Villa Concepcion Resort, but our neighbors already decided on going to Amana, so that's where we went. The resort was still new, and although the place was nice, I wasn't completely happy about it because they only had two pools - one big wavepool and one kiddie pool! The wavepool was nice, but after a while, it was more stressing than relaxing!
But of course we did have a great time. I just hope the resort owners would build more pools so people have a choice where to go. Some pictures:

Me and Hero Miel at the kiddie pool.

Brother and I, still at the kiddie pool. The kiddie pool featured lots of these Dragon Ball Z characters, and we decided to play along with it. Sister took this picture.

The jampacked wavepool.
I stayed in the wavepool for about 30 minutes only because it was so hot, the sun was shining so bright, and I was already tired being pushed by the waves! I was hoping to get a henna tattoo after eating lunch, but hesitations were running in my head. We were also hoping to get back at the pool, but it was just way too hot, so I just hit the shower and change clothes.
We left at around 4PM. If only it wasn't that hot, maybe I enjoyed it 100%. But I had no complaints. I did have a great time - especially when they all sang "Happy Birthday" to me. I was very touched. Hopefully next year, we could go south.. for three years now, we're always going to Bulacan for the summer outing. Hoping next year would be Puerto Galera. Hahaha.
