Halie and I reached her place in San Mateo (Rizal) at a little past midnight. It would be nice to do a skyline shot of the area, but it was really late, so she just let me take shots from the entrance of the village and we walked to her house. Jazzie - her big dog greeted us, but the dog wasn't used to visitors, so Halie just put him on a leash while I was there.
Halie and I chit-chatted the whole night, and in between she edited her pictures. It was around 3AM when we started feeling sleepy, but we decided not to sleep anymore, because the main reason why I "slept over" was so I could see the sunrise. Sleeping at 3AM and waking up as early as 5:30AM was something risky.
At 7AM, the sun peeked through the mountains, and on that sight, we decided to sleep.

I woke up at 10AM, but Halie's still sleeping, so I just tried to sleep again. By 2PM, I heard Jazzie barked and I heard Halie's voice, so I went down to greet them good morning (lol). Halie started to prepare breakfast / lunch / snacks - a pasta dedicated to Erick, a common friend we have at the forum. Of all the people in the forum, Erick I would say is the one person whom I wanted to meet personally (he's working in Qatar). He's one of the few people who had been friendly to me, and someone who had treated me nice in the forum. In October, he will come back to the Philippines, and the three of us plan to do a photo walk and another sleep over at Halie's place.
Anyway, Erick's favorite pasta is the spaghetti carbonara. Halie promised she would cook for me, but we got to her place late, so she just made this one both for me and Erick. We wanted Erick to drool over the spaghetti, so we decided to write a note for him.
It was a hot day. There were a few plans - going to Marikina Riverbanks, or at the Sta. Lucia Mall, but the heat just made us stay where we were. Halie continued editing her pictures, while I watch. A photoshop ignoramus as I am, I never understood a thing. =)

At 4PM, the sun had mellowed, and I asked if we could go to the village pool area so we can also take some images from there. We didn't have much time to take images, though, as the pool closed 30 minutes after. We just went back home and I fixed myself so I could go home.
I left their place at around 7:30PM and got home 2 hours after. It had been a great weekend spent with Halie. I am already excited for our photo walk next month. Thanks for the great accomodation, sis! Love yah!
