This day marked the formal start of the Christian Life Program in our Singles for Christ chapter. I wasn't able to attend the orientation next week, so I didn't know if it was true that I'd be a facilitator. From what I last heard, they were planning to have me as an assistant facilitator, but because I wasn't able to attend the facilitator's training, I am not sure if there would be a change of roles for this program.

It had just been four months since we graduated and became members of Singles for Christ, but already, we were tapped to take part of this CLP. In about four months, some of us made life changing decisions, and others were called to serve in different positions in the community, so we were also asked to take part of the music ministry. Ran was the head of the music ministry, but because Ecko is getting married in May and won't be able to handle being the facilitator, Ecko was asked to lead the music ministry. We had a round of practice yesterday, and we were hoping we could be able to make all things running smoothly.
The service team's call time was at 5:30 - 6:00 PM because we still had to tidy up the chapel. Include to that another round of practice, just so we know exactly where the vocals would enter the song. When there were some participants, Ran and Mae handed out the song books and taught them three songs - with us helping in the way. We would sing the song in whole, then Ran and Mae would teach the song per verse and afterwards all of us would sing. The songs for this week were: By Your Side, God is Enough, and Redeeming Love.

Emer and Daisy were the Team Leader for this CLP. I am all praises to these two people - they were with us every step of the way, and I commend Daisy for coming with us with the music ministry practice. Prior to the ICon in Cebu and the CLP, I could say that I barely know her. Sure we would meet in different SFC events, but it was just this time that I got to spend more time with her and it helped us get to know more about each other.

Talk One is all about God's Love. Teacher Rhona delivered the talk, and even though we were already graduates, it was still nice to hear a different take on the talk. One of things I love about CLP was that I was able to start all over again. I loved the way she delivered the talk, and I am thankful to be reminded yet again how great is the love of God.

If I remember a line in the book, "the Secret," it told that like attracts like. The book also said that if a person always say negative things, the world will work on that. I have been fearing and dreading the idea of becoming a facilitator as I myself am still trying to work out my communications with God, and over and over I have told that I don't want to be a facilitator. Guess what? I am. Andre's my assistant, and I am just so thankful to have her as my assistant. Well, I don't want to label her as my assistant. In my heart and in my mind, we are both facilitators. We are both in this journey together.
We have three participants as our "babies" - Jing, Nela, and Wilma. I am happy that I would be handling them, but there were still fears inside me. I hope I would be able to handle it until the end.
