My fascination with Holland started when I saw a field of yellow tulips in one of our neighbor's magazines. Since then, I have dreamed of seeing a real yellow tulip farm, seeing windmills, carry a big chunk of cheese... and wearing Dutch clogs.
Actually, I once listed the wooden Dutch clogs in my wish list. I really wanted to own and wear one. In August last year, I had the privilege of meeting my co-photo bloggers, and one of them actually went home here in the Philippines from Holland, where she is now based. As a gift, she gave each of us this keychain. I was very happy receiving this one as it has all the things I like about Holland - tulip, windmill, and the clogs.
Thanks a lot, Thess for gift!

Thanks for joining SFF... someday you have to ask your friend to bring you the real wooden shoe. Happy Blogging.

My family and I visited The Netherlands last summer and we got the chance to dress up in their national costume complete with wooden clogs. It is uncomfortable to say the least. Check out my kid's photo wearing these clothes here.
