Cebu City in Seven Days!

In seven days from now, brother and I will be flying to Cebu City to attend the Singles for Christ International Conference. As early as December last year, brother and I have already booked our flights because we don't want compete with the other participants. So many members from the Philippines will be attending the conference, and we wanted to secure the flight so we won't have to scramble at the last minute.

The next problem brother and I faced was finding a hotel in Cebu City that will serve as our home for a few days. It was a bit difficult at first, because we have to consider a lot of things. The conference will be on the 20th until the 22nd of February, and we will arrive two days earlier, so we have to be sure we will be booking the best "home away from home."

There were few hotels we listed, one was the Crown Regency Hotel, mainly because they have this very interesting attraction on the building's roof deck where people can do the sky walking and this roller coaster-like ride. I got excited about that because it would give us a good 360-degrees look of the city - a truly once in a lifetime experience if we are to do it.

Next choice would be the Tambuli Beach Club East Hotel, because this is where my friend Ester and her boyfriend stayed at in one of their anniversaries, and I was in awe of its wonderful location. Sadly, we had to take this out of the list, because we need a hotel close to the conference site, so going back after a whole day of conference would be easy for us.

At this point, brother and I are still communicating with our co-members as to where they will stay at. As much as possible, it would be best if all of us could just stay in one hotel, but if that can't be (because there are only seven days left), at least we already have options. I am now excited as it will be my first time in Cebu City.

Have you been to Cebu City? Could you please tell me things I need to see and do while in the city? Brother and I have two days to roam around, we surely want to see as much places as we can.
