When my sister and I met JenL for JoyD's gift, we decided to go to SM Mall of Asia, too, to maximize our time. And because we were already there, why not maximize our time to the fullest and check out Dinos Alive, too? After all, it's only there until 11 January, we (or I) surely don't want to regret not seeing it.
The problem was, even though the ticket price was slashed down to 400 pesos from the original price of 600 pesos, we still cannot afford a ticket because we didn't bring enough. Still, I said to my sister we can just take a look outside - it's better to see something instead of nothing when the whole thing is torn down.
Sister and I walked and walk to go look for Block 5 - the location. It's not really located inside the mall; the mall has this massive space that can accommodate all sorts of things like carnivals and all that. We did find it, and we could only get jealous at the people lining up to go see the dinos.
Because we cannot afford the tickets, we just used our time to check out the commotion outside. Of course, we used the time also to take pictures! Have a look:
I saw a great place to have a picture taken with that sign of the place - so I could say, "I have been there." Well, almost.
We saw this man holding an iguana who is willing to have pictures taken - but people have to put a little amount in his donation basket. Sister and I took turns for pictures, and although the man doesn't look like used to getting photographed, it was overall nice.
Sister spotted this critter in one of the ponds, and since it's sitting pretty there, why not take a shot with it?
Sister and I surely weren't able to see the dinosaur replicas and we didn't really get to experience being transported back in time, but we surely had a great time outside the place. Like I said, something is better than nothing.

ps - today's my late father's birth anniversary. He should've been 62 today. Happy birth anniversary dad!

Sounds like a wonderful place, great photos. You are right, the guy looked like getting his photo taken was painful. Funny.

That sounds really fun, even if it was only outside the gates. LOL! Great captures!
