Quoting Buddha

Last Sunday, my SFC friends Arnel, Ecko, and El dropped by our house for some chit-chats as well to get the DVDs they lent me over the past weeks. The movie marathons we've had made me borrow some of their discs, and although I wasn't able to watch all the movies and Japanese anime series, I already felt satisfied with the enormouse amount of time I have spent in front of the television just to watch it.

They were supposed to drop by the house in the afternoon after their prayer meeting, but we weren't around, so they went to Ela's house first, after all, she lives two streets away from our house. It was already after dinner when they arrived, so no more movie marathon this time, just talk.

Arnel talked about gathering the newbies to do some CSC - constructive self criticism. The thought of this actually started when we went to Ela's house after the Christmas Party and we had some exchange of first impressions. Now, they wanted to deepen the relationship between each of us by doing self examinations and letting it all out. I agreed with it, after all we are adults - no reason to feel sad should someone speak about a negative attitude. Criticisms are essentials to well being, it will surely make us better individuals.

A Quotation

Arnel was holding a book - "The Secret," which he borrowed from Ela. Ela lent it to Ecko first and Ecko loved the book so much. One time, I was out and got to see the book, and it was indeed a great self-help book. After Arnel, I will borrow it. =)

In between chit-chats, I was scanning the book and came across this quote from Buddha. I couldn't help but agree to it. Actions starts from thought, and whether we do the right or the wrong thing, for sure we have thought about it first. If the actions had a bad consequence, it could be that we haven't thoroughly thought about what to do, but should that happen, we just have to accept and face it.

Then we move on.
