Pictures of the different presentations:
The newly graduates perform a song and dance skit to the tune of AfterImage's "Tag-Ulan. It's a very nice presentation about friendship.
Some of the household leaders / facilitators dancing to a very upbeat tune. There were some problems at the start of their presentation because they cannot locate the music file, but they really pulled it off and presented a very nice (and sexy) routine.
Jessie singing a very powerful song. It was an impromptu performance, and he was so happy that he had some discs in his bag.And now for our presentation. I already told that we did a mime presentation - "We are the Reason" by Avalon. Because the routine was 90% copied from a video Emer saw from You Tube, I didn't ask brother to take a video of it anymore. Let me paste the lyrics of the song and insert some shots brother took:
As little children we would dream of Christmas morn Of all the gifts and toys we knew we'd find
But we never realized a baby born one blessed night
Gave us the greatest gift of our lives
*We were the reason that He gave His life
We were the reason that He suffered and died
To a world that was lost He gave all He could give
To show us the reason to live
As the years went by we learned more about gifts The giving of ourselves and what that means
On a dark and cloudy day a man hung crying in the rain
All because of love
All because of love
[*Chorus]
We were the reason that He gave His life
We were the reason that He suffered and died
To a world that was lost He gave all He could give
To show us the reason to live

I finally found the reason for living
It's in giving every part of my heart
to Him (every part to him)
And all that I do every word that i say
(you know I'll be saying)
I'll be giving my all just for Him,
For Him (everything for Him)
We are the reason that He gave His life
We are the reason that he suffered and died
To a world that was lost he gave all he
could give, to show us the reason to live
(don't you know do you know the reason
that he came, oh he came to save us
when he gave his life for us) he suffered and died
To a world that was lost He gave everything
(everything that He had He gave)
To show us the reason to live.
We basically had two half-days of practice to get the routine down, and sure enough there were lots of glitches while we were performing, but the audience sure were amazed with the performance and we were named winners for the presentations. Our prize? Chocolate coated apples. It wasn't really a big gift if you'll take a look at it, but as what I told Ela, the prestige and the fact that we were able to defy a seem to be impossible routine was way sweeter than any tangible prize.Let me now greet you Merry...

ps - where was I in the presentation pictures? In the first picture, my hands were the topmost "less than" sign (left part of the Christmas tree), in the second picture, my hands formed the top part of letter "E," in the third picture, my hands formed the neck and top body of the man praying, and in the word "Christmas," my hands were the ones that formed the letter "i."
